I was already familiar with Fujita Iron works before starting my job search, but I rediscovered it while looking for work related to the automotive industry. The turning point came when I had the opportunity to visit the factory after applying. During the tour, I was shown the forging process, which deepened my understanding and allowed me to envision myself working there. I was also struck by how spacious the factory was, which left a lasting impression.

Job Description

My job involves designing, assembling, and repairing machinery used in the factory. Currently, I mainly focus on assembly and repair work. Since I get to work with various equipment and facilities in the factory, there are always new discoveries to be made.

About Situations Where You Feel a Sense of Accomplishment

Recently, I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I assembled and installed part of a new piece of equipment. In particular, when installing the piping, I had to consider both functionality and creating a clean, visually appealing layout. There were moments when I found it challenging, but by referring to the existing installations on-site, I was able to complete the task successfully. I was very happy because I felt that I had done work I could truly be proud of.

Moments That Make My Work Rewarding

When assembling or installing machinery and equipment, there are many key points that need to be carefully considered. I find it rewarding to think about how to address these challenges and to see my proposed solutions successfully resolve them. I also feel a sense of fulfillment knowing that these experiences are building up my own skills and abilities. This process of growth is another aspect of what makes the work so meaningful to me.

Future Challenges and Goals

In the future, I plan to take on design work as well.
Since the thought processes and considerations differ from assembly and repair work, I will need to acquire new knowledge and skills. To prepare for this, I want to focus on studying design and obtaining relevant certifications.
My goal is to become a designer like the senior colleague I look up to.
